Every journey starts somewhere, and this is mine: a blog with a single post, written from a desk I intend to leave behind.
Why this blog exists. I’ve decided to build a digital nomad life — not the Instagram version with infinity pools, but the real one: sustainable remote income, a lean set of tools, and the freedom to choose where I wake up. This site is where I’ll document that process, the way I wish someone else had documented it for me.
What you’ll find here. Practical notes on the infrastructure of a nomadic life — how I set up this very blog for zero cost, the tools I use to run work from anywhere, money and tax lessons learned the hard way, and honest progress reports including the failures.
How it’s built. Fittingly for a blog about nomadic infrastructure, the site itself is a lesson in doing more with less: Hugo generates the static pages, GitHub Pages hosts them for free, and Pages CMS gives me a visual editing panel in the browser. No servers, no databases, no monthly bills.
The road begins here. Next stop: the first real chapter.
