Fifth entry in the hotel series, and this one is the budget play: Majestic Suites, on Sukhumvit Soi 4 in the heart of Bangkok’s Nana district — one of the most storied nightlife neighborhoods in the city.
The location: you cannot be more central to Nana
The hotel sits directly opposite Nana Plaza and about a 2-minute walk from BTS Nana station. Terminal 21 mall is a 15-minute stroll down Sukhumvit, and the entire Soi 4 ecosystem — bars, restaurants, massage shops, 24-hour convenience stores — starts at the front door.
If your itinerary is built around Sukhumvit nightlife, the location is close to unbeatable: you’re steps from the action without paying Sukhumvit’s nightclub-adjacent hotel prices. Fair warning, the obvious one: this area is loud and lively until late. Light sleepers should pack earplugs or request a room facing away from the street.
The Nana skyline after dark — this is how close the hotel is.
The rooms: clean, equipped, honest
Majestic Suites is a budget hotel that doesn’t feel like a punishment. Rooms are compact but well equipped and clean — the consistency of that cleanliness is a big part of why it holds an 8.3/10 (“Very Good”) across 2,195+ Booking.com reviews. Free WiFi throughout, a hotel restaurant and bar, and room service if you don’t feel like facing Soi 4 at midnight.
Breakfast is available for a small surcharge (served 6:30–10:30). Rates typically run from about US$33 a night depending on platform and season — I’ve seen it lower on Klook.
Guest friendly: the reason it made the list
Same filter as every hotel in this series, same result: Majestic Suites is guest friendly. A visitor registers their ID at the front desk and heads up with you — no joiner fee, no interrogation. In a neighborhood where some hotels charge per-guest fees or refuse visitors entirely, that policy plus a ~$33 rate is exactly the value proposition the budget end of Bangkok runs on.
Policies change, so a quick confirmation at check-in costs nothing.

Verdict
Majestic Suites is the pick if you want: a spotless budget room, the Nana/Sukhumvit nightlife core outside your door, BTS Nana two minutes away, and a guest-friendly desk that doesn’t complicate your evening. If you want quiet and luxury, this isn’t that — Sakura Sky Residence on Soi 33 might suit you better. I’ll keep this post updated if anything changes.
